Rapid Recap
The Warriors celebrated two members of their team pregame,
Julie Wester and
Meghan McCarthy. They we're hopeful to pull out a home victory and snag an upset win over the Seahawks. The first period,
Isabelle Gardiner kept them in it with a couple saves but nothing would come on the offensive end for Merrimack. Wagner would finally get one past the talented goalie early in the second period to go up 1-0 at the half. In the third period the Seahawks would score two more times to take a 3-0 lead going into the final period of play. The best chances for Merrimack had already come off of a shot from Wester and Ryan earlier in the contest. No scoring would come in the fourth as the Warriors would lose on Senior Day.
