Men's Soccer Can't Get Past Rider

 
North Andover, M.A.-   The Merrimack College Warriors Men's soccer team took the lead, but conceded twice to fall to the Rider University Broncs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

The Warriors went ahead in the first half after a penalty kick was won and converted by Samuel Biven for his first Warriors goal.  The Broncs would equalize late in the half to tie the score heading into half time.
 
Rider would take the lead six minutes into the second half with the eventual game winning goal, the Warriors would win a second penalty kick but Biven's effort was saved and the Broncs would hold on from there.
 

UP NEXT: The Warriors are back in action as they face the Siena College Saints next Saturday at 4 PM at Martone-Mejail Field.
