BUFFALO, NY- The Merrimack women's soccer team was defeated by the Canisius University Golden Griffins in the Quarterfinal Round of the MAAC Playoffs on the afternoon of Sunday, November 3rd.

How it Happened
The first half was held to zeros thanks to the Merrimack defense. Lily Morgan made a string of saves to keep her team in the game. Abigail Cieri contributed to the Warriors wall by making a team save and turning the ball away from the open net. Jillian Golden and Bella Keogh led the offensive effort for Merrimack. The team fought hard for 90 minutes but they ended up being eliminated from the MAAC Women's Soccer Playoffs.
