North Andover, Mass.—The Merrimack Warriors Men's Hockey team snapped their seven game losing streak with a clinical 3-1 victory over the University of New Hampshire Wildcats on Saturday night at Lawler Arena.

Merrimack got off to the start they were hoping for, controlling play through the first 10 minutes before finding their breakthrough as
Luke Weilandt tipped in the original shot by
Frank Djurasevic in the slot to take the lead at 11:16 of the first period.
Alex Jefferies fired in the Warriors second goal in two minutes as he took a slick cross ice pass from
Adam Arvedson to take a two goal lead.
New Hampshire would score their lone goal of the game on the powerplay at 15:07 of the first period.
A low event second period saw
Hugo Ollas turn away all four shots of the frame.
In the third period,
Hugo Ollas would stop all nine shots from the Wildcats and
Filip Forsmark would put the game on ice with an empty goal with 30 seconds to play.
