NORTH ANDOVER, MASS – On Monday afternoon the Merrimack College football team named Eddy Morrissey its Co-Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach. Morrissey was previously the offensive line coach at the University of Rhode Island.
Before heading to Kingston, Morrissey had stops at Austin Peay (offensive line and run game coordinator), Mississippi State (assistant offensive line), Bryant (offensive line), Princeton (assistant head coach and offensive line), Fordham (offensive line and tight ends) and Oregon (graduate assistant).
Morrissey also had stints at UMass and Northeastern under Don Brown who he started his career with as a student assistant at Plymouth State in 1989.
Morrissey earned his bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Plymouth State in 1994. He added a master's degree in Education from Springfield College in 1996.
