Lubbock, T.X.—Merrimack Softball were defeated by the New Mexico State University Aggies and the Texas Tech Red Raiders by two 8-0 scores on Friday afternoon.
GAME 1: After a scoreless first two innings, New Mexico would score four runs in the third inning before scoring two more runs in both the fourth and fifth innings before the game would finish in the fifth.
Notes and Numbers:
GAME 2: The Red Raiders took an early lead with a home run in the first inning, then scoring two more runs in the second, and adding four more runs in the third and they would score their 8
th run of the contest in the fifth.
Up Next: Merrimack will continue play in the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic against UTEP and Texas Tech at 10 AM and 5:30 PM.
