Adirondack, NY— Merrimack Forward
Mac Welsher has signed his first professional contract, agreeing to terms with the Adirondack Thunder as announced by the team on Tuesday.
Welsher, a graduate student from Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan recently completed his fifth season at Merrimack, scoring four times and picking up nine assists for 13 points in 30 games played this season. Three of the four goals scored this season were game winners as well. In his career here at Merrimack, he played in 138 games, scoring 25 times as well as collecting 22 assists for 47 points.
The Adirondack Thunder are the ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and Mac will look to make his debut in one of the next four games as the Thunder play Worcester on Wednesday March 20
th , and Norfolk on March 22

rd, and 24
th.
