Rapid Recap
What a game it was on the mound for both sides through six innings.
Tyghe Healy started it off with 5.0 innings of scoreless baseball giving up just 4 hits and striking out five batters. It wasn't until the 7th inning when there was a run scored. The Warriors struck first when
Christian Gemelli came across home plate on an error. The Bobcats would score two runs in their half of the inning. Quinnipiac would maintain their 2-1 lead until the top of the ninth when the real fun started. With Haba and Sherman on board
Dawson Bryce hit a double down the right field line scoring two and taking over the lead. Moments later
Frankie Ferrentino would drive in Bryce on a sac fly. Merrimack held a 4-2 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth and
Colby Barker was called upon to finish the job. Barker let across three runs as the Bobcats walked it off on the Warriors for a heartbreaking loss to start their weekend.
