Orlando, FL.— Merrimack Men's Ice Hockey Captain
Ben Brar signed his first professional contract with the Florida Everblades as announced by the team on Wednesday night.
Brar, a graduate student from Abbotsford, British Columbia recently completed his fifth season as a Warrior, finishing a remarkable career being named a team captain the last two seasons, notching 83 career points (39 goals and 44 assists) and 155 games played in a Warriors career, officially passing Marc Biega for the most games played in a Warriors uniform in program history.
The Florida Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers and Ben will look to make his professional debut this weekend as they take on Jacksonville Icemen on March 29
th and 30
th.
