Staten Island, N.Y-- Merrimack Softball picked up their first series sweep of the season and won their fourth game in a row as they defeated the Wagner Seahawks by a score of 6-3 on Saturday afternoon

Merrimack would take the lead early in the first as
Madeline Arvai would reach on an error that would score
Courtney Lanpher and
Madison Cerpa would score on a fielders choice.

Cerpa would extended the lead in the fourth with a two run homer and
Courtney Lanpher would follow suit with a two run dinger of her own to break the game open in the sixth. Wagner would push across two more runs in the seventh but
Madie Fornwalt would the game by way of the K to close the deal for the Warriors.
