Rapid Recap
Flynn Howard would start in his third straight midweek game. He would struggle as the Riverhawk bats got to him, scoring three runs in the top of the first. In the bottom of the first the Warriors bats responded. Dawson Bryce, Christian Scanlon, and Braydon Dolbashian all secured an RBI in the first inning to draw even with UML. The two teams would trade scores in the third inning as Dawson Bryce hammered a homerun. Tied up after four, Merrimack would rely heavily on their bullpen to hold it down and give them a shot. Colby Barker, Campbell Cassidy and Casey Hegan would come in and give up three runs over the next four innings as the Warriors offense only scored one more run and that came in the 8th inning. The Warriors would go on to lose the game 12-5 in the rematch of their midweek battle last week in which the Warriors came out victorious.
