Bryant would strike first in this contest just over four minutes into the game. They rest of the first quarter saw no other scoring. The Bulldogs would score twice more in the second quarter and head into the half up 3-0. The second half was a defensive battle on both sides. There would be just three total shots on goal in the third and fourth quarter combined. No more scoring would occur in a hard fought 3-0 loss for Merrimack
