SMITHFIELD, RI – The Merrimack College Women's Volleyball team fell to the Bryant University Bulldogs on Tuesday September 17.

How It Happened
Merrimack and Bryant were neck and neck for most of the first set until the Bulldogs were able to pull away late to win the set 25-18. The Warriors would score the first three points in the second set but the Bulldogs had other intentions as they took a 12-9 lead over the Warriors. The Warriors fought back with a run of kills coming from
Mckenna Shotwell and
Morgan Thurlow which proved to be too much for the Bulldogs. Merrimack would win the second set 25-19.
The Bulldogs opened the third set with intensity as they took a 7-0 lead over the Warriors. Bryant would continue that momentum winning the third set 25-15. In the fourth and final set of the match both teams traded points. The Bulldogs would extend their lead in the latter half of the set to go up 22-18. The Warriors were unable to close the gap as the Bulldogs came away with the fourth set victory, 25-23.
