Men's Soccer Stumped by Bryant

Smithfield, R.I.-   The Merrimack College Warriors men's soccer team conceded a goal late and fell to the Bryant Bulldogs by a score of 1-0 on Thursday night.

  • Neither team was able to score in the opening 45 minutes, as there were eight shots taken by Bryant, but the Warriors defense were able to cause problems for the Bulldogs as only one shot was on target, and it was stopped by Nelton Semedo.
 
  • In the second half, Nelton Semedo made three more stops, but Bryant would score the lone goal of the match with 12 minutes to play to pick up the victory.
     
    Notes and Numbers:
  • Nelton Semedo made four saves
  • Tommaso Ogliari and Samuel Biven had the only shots on goal for Merrimack.
