NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College Men's hockey team and head coachÂ
Scott Borek announced their 2024-25 season schedule on (Day). The schedule includes 24 games in Hockey East and 11 non-conference contests including their involvement in the Friendship Four, held in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 29
th and 30
th.
The Warriors will open their 2024-25 slate of games on Sunday, October 6
th against Stonehill, their first of two contests against them this season, before heading to Mankato for a two-game road set against Minnesota State on the 11
th and 12
th. The Warriors then begin Hockey East play with a game at Lawler Arena with the University of New Hampshire on October 18
th and next against arch-rival UMass-Lowell at home on the 26
th.
The Warriors open November with a two-game trip to Orono to face the Maine Black Bears on the 1
st & 2
nd of the month before playing their lone home game of the month on the 8
th in their home and home with the University of Connecticut Huskies. The Warriors complete their set with the Stonehill College on Tuesday, November 12
th, before heading to play Boston University on November 22
nd. Merrimack then heads overseas to play in the Friendship Four first with conference foes, Boston University on November 29
th and then with either Harvard or Notre Dame in game two that will be played on the 30
th.
In December, Merrimack will play three games, all at home as they will host the University of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves on the 6
th & 7
th before wrapping up 2024 with a home game against last year's playoff adversary, the Northeastern Huskies on the 14
th.

The Warriors kick off January with a visit to West Point as they'll face the Army Black Knights on the 3
rd before coming home to play the Dartmouth Big Green on a Sunday matinee on January 5
th. The Warriors head to Chestnut Hill to face Boston College on 10
th before coming home on the 11
th. They'll then play UMass for the first two of three games in the month at home on the 17
th and on the road on the 18
th. The Warriors will play their final non-conference game on Tuesday the 21
st at home against the Brown University Bears before settling back into Hockey East play for the remainder of the year with two road games to close the month with Northeastern on the 25
th and UMass for the third and final time in a 14-day span on the 31
st.

The Warriors open February by closing out their regular season set with UMass Lowell on the road on the first of the month before facing Boston University for the last time on the 7
th at home, the next night on the 8
th they head to Durham to face New Hampshire, before coming home on the 14
th-15
th to host the Vermont Catamounts for two games. After 13 days off they close February with a road matchup with Providence before hosting the Friars on March 1
st. The Warriors will play their final home game on Thursday the 6
th against Northeastern and they'll put the bow on their regular season on Saturday the 8
th as they hit the road against Boston College.

The Hockey East Tournament will begin on March 12
th as seeds six, seven, and eight will host seeds 11, 10, and nine, respectively. The top three seeds will face the remaining lowest seeds, and the four seed will play host to the fifth seed on March 15
th. The winners of those games will advance to the Hockey East Semifinals held at TD Garden on the 21
st with the final two teams remaining facing of the championship game on March 22
nd.
