The Warriors were able to stop the Bulldogs from gaining any momentum despite having control in opponent territory for most of the quarter. Strong Warrior defense kept the Bulldogs from scoring after three penalty corner opportunities. That theme continued throughout the second quarter until Bryant scored a penalty corner goal with 4:35 left in the half.
The Warriors were able to turn it up in the second half, putting multiple shots on goal and getting their first penalty corner opportunity. Strong defense from the Warriors and Bulldogs kept the game close going into the fourth quarter but Bryant registered the winner to take the contest 1-0.
