McKenna Shotwell led the Warriors' attack with 13 kills on .257 hitting to go along with 10 digs and 4 service aces for an 18-point effort against Marist University on Friday night at the James J. McCann Arena.

Marissa Kobelski added seven kills apiece for the Warriors, while setter
Sophia DeBonis dished out 24 assists and chipped in five digs. Defensively,
Ella Maldonado anchored the back row with 14 digs to lead Merrimack.
After taking the opening set 25–22, Merrimack dropped a marathon second frame 29–27 and couldn't reclaim momentum despite late pushes in sets three and four. The Warriors hit .180 as a team with 47 kills and 13 aces.
Marist countered with a balanced offense and hit .257 on the night, outpacing Merrimack in kills (58–47) and digs (61–50).
Merrimack falls to 5–12 overall and 3–5 in MAAC play, while Marist improves to 7–13 and 5–3 in the conference.
