NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College Field Hockey team is set to host the Broncs of Rider University this Friday at 3pm in their penultimate game of the season.
Preview:
The field is set for an NEC matchup between the Broncs and Warriors Friday afternoon. Junior forward
Darla Mahoney is looking to keep momentum after scoring on a penalty stroke earlier in the week against LIU. Mahoney tallied an assist in last week's contest against Wagner which makes it two straight games recording points for the Warriors. Junior midfielder
Jade Shabo has scored three goals in her last six games. The Warriors look to lean on goalkeeper
Isabelle Gardiner, who put up one of her best efforts of the season last Sunday against LIU. She stopped 14 shots and had a .737 save percentage.
