NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Wear pink to support the fight against breast cancer as the Merrimack women's hockey team hosts Hockey East leading Boston College in on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the Skating Strides game.
The Skating Strides against breast cancer program was founded in 2007 as a
college hockey conference initiative to increase breast cancer awareness in the college game.
Boston College enters Saturday's game with 6 points in Hockey East, while Merrimack will be playing its first league game of the season.
Avery Anderson leads the Warriors with 7 points, on two goals and five assists.
Emma Pfeffer has a team-high three goals.
Adreanna Doucette has a .924 save percentage and 2.75 goals against average for the Warriors.
