Warriors Looking to Complete the Sweep this Weekend

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College Women's volleyball team is set to take on the Pioneers of Sacred Heart University this Friday at 3pm. On Saturday, the Warriors host the Fairfield Stags at 3pm as well. The Warriors look to complete the sweep on the Pioneers on Hammel Court and take that momentum going into a big match against the Stags on Saturday.
Matchup: Merrimack (5-13), (3-6 MAAC), Sacred Heart (7-14), (4-5 MAAC), Fairfield, (15-4), (9-0 MAAC)

Preview:
After beating the Pioneers for the first time in program history a month ago, the Warriors look to add another conference victory and the season sweep. The Warriors look to get help from
Aubrey Baker who tallied a team leading 10 kills in the last matchup. It was a block parade last month against the Pioneers as the Warriors combined for 15 total blocks.
Jocelyn Hammerstrand looks to build off of her career night against the Pioneers as she set personal records in kills (10), points (10), and block assists (8).

Against the Stags last month, the Warriors saw a tremendous effort from
Lilly Konrad who recorded her first double-double of the season. Konrad will look to team up with sophomore
Mckenna Shotwell, who has led the team in kills their past two games.
