New Britain, CT—The Merrimack Women's Cross-Country Team had a strong showing at the Central Connecticut State University mini meet, finishing 3 rd out of the 5 teams competing on Friday Afternoon.

How it Happened
Maci Chapman led the top five for Merrimack in 6th place with a mark of 10:13.09,
Marianna Collins followed up in 9th with a time of 10:19.42,
Caroline White was the third finisher at 13th place with a time of 10:27.08.
Avaline Fihlman was 4th and 16th with a time of 10:30.44 and
Courtney Hinchion rounded out the top five in 21st place with a time of 10:39.77.

Chris Cameron: "The women ran aggressively upfront and it paid off with many earning new PR's. Sometimes it's worth it to go out harder than usual and today it paid off for many of the women. We hope to continue to build on this momentum at next week's MAAC championship."
