NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – The Merrimack College Women's Volleyball team faced Niagara this Saturday afternoon for their regular season finale. Falling in a 3-2 final, the Warriors saw an impressive effort from sophomore
Mckenna Shotwell who tallied her 6
th double-double in seven matches.
In their season finale the Warriors went the distance with the Purple Eagles of Niagara.
Mckenna Shotwell had 13 kills and a career high 28 digs.
Ella Gizmunt had double-digit kills with 11.
Sophia DeBonis recorded her 9
th double-double of the season with a 26 assist and 14 dig effort.
Ella Maldonado matched her season high with 25 digs and
Lilly Konrad notched 16 assists. Three Warriors each had three block assists in the days contest.
Stats and Facts
This completes the Merrimack College Women's Volleyball season. The Warriors look forward to getting back in action next season and rooting for the men's volleyball team, who gets started in the coming months.
