In her last five games, Mia Fiore has posted double figure point totals. The sophomore guard had a team leading performance against Northeastern where she posted 14 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. The Rhode Island Native leads the Warriors in minutes played with over 32 minutes per game. Fiore exploded for a career high against Bryant where she posted 24 points, shooting 10-14 (.714) from the field. In their last game, Fiore led the team in points with 19, and shot 50% from three. In her last two games, the guard is averaging 21.5 ppg and shooting 17-30 (.566%) from the field.
Senior sharpshooter Lydia Melaschenko kicked off her 2025 season with a then career high 18 points. The guard led the Warriors last season with a .356 make percentage from behind the arc splashing 48 threes. Melaschenko finished 7th in the MAAC with that impressive three-point percentage. In the Warriors contest against High Point, Melaschenko erupted for 7 three pointers coming just shy of program history. The 21 points is her new career high. In her last four games, Melaschenko has made 12 three pointers.
In the Warriors game against Bryant, Madison Roman tallied a career and team high 26 points, shooting 9-15 (.600) from the field. Roman came down with 10 rebounds to lengthen her double-double streak to two. Roman tallied her first double-double of the season with 10 rebounds and 12 points two games ago against Northeastern. She started her season with a 10 rebound, 9 point, and 5 assist line in just 17 minutes against UMass Boston. Named MAAC preseason all-conference second team, the forward averaged 8.7 pts and 8.7 rebounds per game last season. Her 269 rebounds last season put her 2nd in the conference. Roman's ability to score and play for possession is key for the Warriors success.

The Warriors saw success in the playoffs last season with a big win over #3 seed Siena. In the 79-72 win over the Saints, Melaschenko and Garcia both put up 10+ points. With the MAAC playoffs set to take place in Atlantic City again in 2026, the Warriors look to shake it up again.
First Year Cooking
Joi Williams, who is the team's ONLY freshman, has posted double-digit point totals in four of her first six collegiate games. The freshman out of Alliance, Ohio is averaging just over 10 points per game. In her last game against Boston College, Williams exploded for a career high 16 points. Starting in her first career game, Williams came down with five rebound and added two assists. She shot 5-11(45%) from the field and made three 3's.
