SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI – Mia Fiore, from nearby Narragansett, R.I.
, led the way for the Merrimack College women's basketball team with 14 points in the Warriors 84-46 loss at Rhode Island Friday night at the Ryan Center.
Fiore made 2-of-4 three pointers and 6-of-14 shots from the field.
Joi Williams added 13 points, including a pair of threes and a perfect 3-for-3 from the line.
Molly Manion contributed seven points with steady play on the wing, and
Madison Roman grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
Merrimack stays on the road as they travel to High Point, N.C. to take on High Point University on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
