BURLINGTON, V.T. - The Merrimack College Men's Basketball team fell to the Catamounts of Vermont this Sunday 66-59, despite getting 20 points from freshman Kevair Kennedy.

Kennedy shot 7-14 from the field and added on five rebounds plus a season high seven assists to go with his 20 point effort. It was Kennedy's second time in the past three games scoring 20 and fourth time in the past five putting up over 15 points.

KC Ugwuakazi had a season high 9 points shooting 3-4 from the field. He tallied eight rebounds to go with three blocks.Â

Ernest Shelton hit three 3-pointers and finished the day with 11 points and two steals. It was his second straight game with double figures.

Tye Dorset finished with 12 points on the day which is the sixth straight game with double digit points.
The loss against the Catamounts snaps the Warriors four game winning streak.

The Warriors will enjoy two weeks off before heading down to Sacred Heart on December 29th for their third conference game of the season. Tip off from Fairfield is at 2:00 P.M.
