North Andover, Mass.-- The Merrimack Men's Hockey team returns after the Christmas break for their final game of the calendar year on Monday night against the Vermont Catamounts at 6 PM in Burlington. Merrimack last played just over two weeks ago when they won two of two non-conference games with Yale and Long Island winning by scores of 4-1 and 4-2. The Warriors re-enter conference play in eighth place with 10 points.

In the last weekend of play, Merrimack defenseman
Seamus Powell had a phenomenal weekend as collected four points in two games including a three-point night against Long Island which is had his first multi-goal performance in his career. The junior leads his position on the team in points with 11 (two goals, nine assists).

Max Lundgren stopped 62 of 65 shots last weekend to collect both wins, pushing his count to seven on the season. Max has played the second most minutes in the conference thus far and sits fifth in SV% with a .918.

Trevor Hoskin stayed right on target last weekend as after a three-assist game against LIU, he went back over a point a game with 17 in 16 games, Hoskin's three-point game was also his second of the season and fifth multi-point game as well.

Parker Lalonde was the other Warrior to record a four-point weekend with two assists against Yale and a goal and assist against LIU. Lalonde's tally against the Sharks was his first goal since Oct. 25th also against LIU. He currently sits third in points with 13 (six goals, seven assists)

Merrimack and Vermont split their two-game set last season with a 4-2 loss and a 4-3 win in February.
Nick Pierre had a big weekend as he scored four points (two goals, two assists) and
Caden Cranston also had three points including the tying and winning goal in the 4-3 victory. The Warriors have won three of the last five meetings, and seven of the last ten.
