Kalamazoo, MI.— Merrimack forward
Antonio Venuto has been signed by the Utah Grizzlies agreeing to contracts terms on Wednesday night.
Venuto, a graduate student from Whitmore Lake, Michigan was named as team captain this past season and had 14 points this year. (eight goals and six assists) Venuto played his previous four seasons at Ferris State, and in his NCAA career he played in 155 games and posted 69 points (31 goals, 38 assists). He was also a Hobey Baker award nomination in 2024.
The Kalamazoo Wings are the ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Antonio will hope to make his debut against the Bloomington Bison on Friday March 21
st.
