How it HappenedÂ
The Warriors would have competitive at-bats in the early goings. Alex Miller would get the offense going in the 3rd inning by reaching on an error. She would also advantage twice in that same inning on a fielder's choice and a stolen base via wild pitch. Anna Gedacht would come in relief in the bottom of the 3rd and get three outs in five at-bats. Thiana Brito would come up in the top of the 4th and plop a double into center field. She would be the catalyst that got the offense going, as Gabby Kaduson would come up and secure an RBI with a groundout to second base. Although the Warriors made some noise in the later innings, they would end up losing to the Texas Longhorns on Saturday.Â
