Football Unveils 2025 Schedule

NORTH ANDOVER, MASS- On Wednesday the Merrimack College football team announced its schedule for the 2025 season. The Warriors will play 11 games, highlighted by two FBS opponents and a number of high-level Northeast foes.   

The Warriors kicked off the season against the Kent State University on August 30. The matchup will be the first time that Merrimack heads to Ohio to take on the Golden Flash. The Warriors will then play their first home game of the season against Saint Anselm College on September 6. These two teams have met 22 times dating back to 1999. Merrimack is ahead in the series 16-6. The Warriors will jump back on the road to play their second FBS opponent when they take on Kennesaw State University on September 13. The matchup will be the first time the Warriors will play in the state of Georgia. Merrimack then comes back home on September 20 to square off against Central Connecticut State University. The matchup will be the sixth between the teams. The Warriors then travel down to New York to take on the Seawolves on Stony Brook on September 27.

Homecoming weekend at Merrimack is highlighted by a matchup with Robert Morris University on October 4. The matchup with Colonials is just the second in program history. The Warriors stay at home to take on the University of Maine for the second straight season on October 11. After the matchup with the Black Bears, Merrimack heads down the road to Cambridge to take on Harvard. The last time these two teams met the game went into overtime.

The month of November kicks off with a game against Colgate University. The Warriors won the lone time these two teams met during the 2024 season. Merrimack then stays on the road for its final away game of the season against Sacred Heart University. The Warriors have won two out of the last three matchups against the Pioneers. Merrimack concludes its season against the Rams of Fordham on November 22. The Warriors held the Rams to three points in their victory last season.
