Women's Volleyball Releases 2025 Schedule

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's volleyball team announced their schedule for the upcoming 2025 season.

The campaign will begin with three consecutive tournaments away from home. That starts with a trip to East Lansing, Michigan to play Chicago State and Michigan State on August 30th. The next trip is to Dekalb, Illinois for the Northern Illinois Tournament. It kicks off with a matchup against the host Northern Illinois on September 5th followed by a pair of matches on the sixth versus SIU Edwardsville and Indiana State. The Warriors travel to one final tournament to square off with Holy Cross on September 12th before a meeting against Providence on the 13th. The final day of the tournament is a battle with former familiar foe Central Connecticut State on the 14th. Merrimack will play once more on the road with a quick ride up north to play at the University of New Hampshire to close out non-conference action.

MAAC play opens up with a pair of road matches in Connecticut with bouts against Fairfield and Sacred Heart on the 26th and 27th of September. The Warriors close out the month with the home opening match versus Quinnipiac on the 30th. A home weekend awaits next with home matchups against Niagara and Canisius on October 3rd and 4th. A string of four straight away from North Andover is on tap beginning with Saint Peter's on October 11th and Rider on the 12th. The 17th and 18th will feature trips into New York to face Marist and Siena. Finally, Merrimack returns back to North Andover as they play host this time to both Sacred Heart and Fairfield on the 24th and 25th of October.

The second meeting with Quinnipiac headlines a busy week for the Warriors on the 28th as home matches versus Manhattan on the 31st and Iona on November 1st are next on the calendar. Rider comes into town on the 7th and Saint Peter's proceeds right after on the 8th to close out the home slate of games for the 2025 schedule. The final weekend of the regular season is a long bus ride into western New York to play Canisius and Niagara on the 14th and 15th.

Merrimack finished last season as the number seven seed in their first year as a member of the MAAC. They would go on to advance to the quarterfinals and will aim to build upon that in year two under head coach Ken Nichols.
