Men's Soccer Falls in Topsy-Turvy Game To Stonehill

North Andover, Ma.--   The Merrimack College Warriors Men's soccer team dropped their match with the Stonehill College Skyhawks by a final score of 3-2 on Thursday night at Martone-Mejail Field.

Neither team found the net in the opening half as both teams combined for eight shots, only on on target that was stopped by Nelton Semedo.
 
 
The Warriors broke through for the opening goal as Keller Cassidy took the errant ball from the Skyhawk defender and slotted the shot in to take the lead just past 50 minutes into the game.
 
The Skyhawks would get back on level terms after winning and converting a penalty kick in the 69th minute of play.
 
The Warriors would retake the lead just seven minutes later as Bor Zunec picked out Adam Abdelaal would finished nicely to go ahead 2-1.
 
Stonehill would tie the score at two in the final five minutes and they would stun the Warriors with a goal with one second on the clock to take the victory.

UP NEXT: The Warriors have a week off before they head to New Britain, Connecticut to match up with the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils on Tuesday, September 9th. Kick off for that game is at 7 PM.
