Buffalo, N.Y. The Merrimack College women's soccer team fought back from a two goal deficit in the second half, but were undone by two goals in the late stages of their match with the Canisius Golden Griffins as they fell by a score of 4-2 on Saturday afternoon.
Merrimack: 2, Canisius: 4
Merrimack (2-4-2), 1-1-0), Canisius (2-4-0, 2-0-0)
The Golden Griffins would score the opening goal just before the 15-minute mark and would double it 15 minutes later to take a two goal advantage into the half.

Bella Keogh who would convert the one on one chance. Emboldened by the goal, the Warriors would take command as
Maddie Eddy's was only denied by the post on her attempt to tie the game but they would even the scoring moments later as
Liv Campbell would play reigning MAAC Player of the Week
Kylie Fuller through with a picture-perfect pass and Fuller would make no mistake, tying the game at two with 15 minutes to play.
However, the Golden Griffins would retake the lead just over a minute later and put the game to rest with their insurance marker with two minutes to play.
