NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Men's Basketball star Kevair Kennedy has been selected as the MAAC Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season.
Kennedy led the Warriors to a 2-0 week averaging 21.5 ppg. In their matchup against a tough Bobcat defense, Kennedy powered his way to a 23-point performance, finishing one point shy of a career high. He came down with eight rebounds and added on six assists, finishing just shy of a triple-double.
In their Monday contest against third-place Marist, the Warriors were led once again by Kennedy. The freshman scored 20 points shooting just under 50% and had four rebounds.
Kennedy has scored in double figures in 19 of the team's 20 games and scored over 20 points in four of the team's last six games.
Kennedy and the first-place Warriors take on Iona in New York this Thursday.
