Laskova '22 Named To 2026 Czechia Olympic Hockey Team

Prague, Czech Republic-- Dominika Laskova ('22) was named to the Czechia women's Olympic hockey team for the second time in her career as announced by the Olympic committee on Tuesday.
 
Laskova ('22), a defender from Praha, Czech Republic, played 67 games over her Merrimack career scoring 31 points in that time (nine goals, 22 assists). After leaving Merrimack, Laskova has played professionally in the PHF where she won the Isobel Cup, the PWHL where she became the first Merrimack Women's Hockey alumnae to be drafted in the league's history (19th overall, Montreal) and this season where she currently plays for SDE HF in the SDHL, where she's recorded five goals and 13 assists for 18 points in 28 games played.
 
Internationally, Laskova has played in five World Championships for Czechia, lining out for her country 32 times and scoring 17 points, winning two IIHF Bronze medals, as well as being named as a Top 3 player on her team during those tournaments. In her career in total Laskova, has played for her country 84 times, picking up 37 points in that time.
 
 
In her previous appearance in the Olympic games, Laskova played in all five contests for the Czech's as reached the semifinals through the group stages as they placed in 7th in the tournament.
