LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The Merrimack College field hockey team will travel to NJ this Friday to take on the Rider Broncos in NEC play.
The Warriors will look to rebound off their loss to the Pioneers this past Sunday and take home another conference win.
Look for the Warriors to rely on Gianna Cioni on the offensive side. Cioni who was just recently named to this past week's NEC Prime Performer team accounted for both goals in the Warriors win against Mercyhurst.
On the defensive side, pay close attention to another member of the NEC Prime Performer team in Darla Mahoney who had two huge defensive saves in the matchup with SHU, she now leads the nation in defensive saves on the year.
Start time on Friday set for 6 pm, make sure to tune into the action streaming live on ESPN+.
