FAIRFIELD, CT — The Merrimack College women's volleyball team will head down to Fairfield county this Friday to take on a pair of conference opponents in Sacred Heart and Fairfield.
Last time out for the Warriors, it was a tough loss at the hands of the Quinnipiac Bobcats in a five set thriller. Freshman outside hitter Tami Afolalu has really came into the spotlight as of lately averaging 10 kills over the last five matches. Redshirt junior outside hitter Fabiola Betancourt has done a serviceable job stepping into the starting lineup the last couple matches, dropping 12 and 8 kills on those two occasions.

The Pioneers have exceeded the standards so far, projected to finish 7th in the pre-season poll. First serve of this one set for 7 pm, you can catch the action streaming live on ESPN+.
