NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — The Merrimack College women's volleyball team will host a pair of conference opponents this weekend from The Sakowich Center. The Warriors will take on the Fairfield Stags Friday night with first serve set for 6 pm. They will then face the Sacred Heart Pioneers on Saturday afternoon with start time set for 2 pm.
The Warriors will have their hands full when they welcome the Stags who remain perfect in conference play, and the Pioneers who sit two games above .500 in Metro play.
Look for the Warriors to lean on the hot hand which has been freshman outside Tami Afolalu as of recently. The native of Orange, Conn. has had a stellar month of October, posting five games where she reached double figures in the kill column.
