NORTH ANDOVER, MASS.— Merrimack Women's Hockey dropped their second game of their back-to-back set with Union College on Saturday afternoon falling by a score of 4-2.
After Union opened the scoring in the first period, it would be Madison Vittands who once again came up big for the Warriors, scoring the tying goal and her ninth point in her last seven regular season games. McKenzie Cerrato was credited with the lone assist.
After Union scored two more goals in the third period, Merrimack got a lifeline when Maggie Kime's point shot was tipped home with the net empty by Meagan Cronan for her first Merrimack goal, but Union would bag the empty netter seconds later.
