NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. --
Finn Dougherty scored three goals for the Merrimack men's lacrosse team, but ultimately it wasn't enough as the Warriors dropped a 14-8 verdict against Holy Cross at Duane Stadium on Wednesday night.
Merrimack faced a 7-4 deficit at the half before Holy Cross took a six-goal lead into the fourth period.
Casey Herod scored a pair of goals while
Jack Deleo,
Colin Kruger and
Alystair Hemberger all finished with one apiece.
Anthony Kulturides finished with 13 saves.
The Warriors (0-2) travel to Bryant on Saturday at noon.
