North Andover, MA-- The Merrimack Men's Hockey team went unbeaten over the previous weekend going 1-0-1 and getting four Hockey East points as they beat New Hampshire 2-1 on last Friday and then played to a 3-3 tie, falling in the shootout. Tomorrow Merrimack plays their final non conference game of the season tonight and their only game in the next week and a half against Stonehill at the Warrior Ice Arena in Boston, and the game can be seen for free on NEC Front Row.
Max Lundgren went unbeaten over the weekend including winning his 13th game of the season on Friday. Lundgren made 52 saves on 56 shots against New Hampshire and was named Goaltender of the week by Hockey East, his second straight award win by conference. Max had a stellar month of January, posting a 5-2-1 record with a .936 SV% and a 1.94 Goals Against Average.
Justin Gill joined
Nick Pierre as the two players with double-digit goals as Gill scored the opening goal on Saturday. The Warriors have multiple double digit scorers for the first time in two seasons.
Parker Lalonde was the leading scorer for the Warriors in the month of January scoring five times and collecting eight points in total, including five points in the last four games. Lalonde sits tied with
Trevor Hoskin in points with 23, and both players sit tied in six place in total Hockey East points.
Merrimack enters this game with the most powerplay goals in Hockey East (22) and the best percentage in the conference (24.2), Merrimack has scored a powerplay goal in 9 of their last 11 contests including a six game streak from December 12th to January 16th.

Cam Kungle has had a solid stretch of games with four assists in the month of January and three assists in the last four games.
Tonight will be Merrimack's fourth ever game against Stonehill, which have taken place in the last three seasons. Stonehill went 2-0 in last season's contests, with both of their victories coming in overtime.
