ORONO, ME -- The Merrimack men's hockey team dropped the second game of their back-to-back against the Maine Black Bears, 5-2, on Saturday night.
Merrimack took a 2-1 lead after the opening period before Maine scored three times in the middle session.
Caelan Fitzpatrick opened the scoring with his second goal in as many days.
Michael Emerson scored 12 minutes into the game to give the Warriors a 2-1 advantage.
Nolan Flamand assisted on both goals while
Ethan Beyer had the other assist. Merrimack defender
Cam Kungle played in his 100
th collegiate game.
The Warriors return home for their final three games of the regular season. Merrimack will host Vermont on Friday and Saturday before its regular-season finale against UMass-Lowell on March 5.
