LAS VEGAS, NV. – Merrimack Softball continued play in the UNLV Rebel Classic with a game against the hosts, and against Utah Valley University on Saturday afternoon.
In game one,
Sam Russalesi had two hits, with
Alex Miller,
Madison Metcalf and
Anna Mitrou having one each, Russalesi also collected the Warriors first stolen base of the season.
In game two,
Sydney Samuel had the lone hit for the Warriors, and
Sam Ryan pitched 1 2/3's scoreless relief with one strikeout in her first appearance with Merirmack.
The Warriors close their play in the tournament tomorrow with games at 3:00 and 5:30 PM eastern time against Idaho State and UNLV. Those games can be seen for free on the UNLV YouTube channel.
