Men’s Basketball Falls To Canisius In Weekend Opener

BUFFALO, NY - Kevair Kennedy scored 25 points, but it was the Golden Griffins who stopped the Warriors from getting their ninth straight win. 

Kennedy's 25 points came on a near perfect day from the field shooting 8-for-9. He came down with six rebounds and added on two assists. 

Ernest Shelton and Tye Dorset both scored 11 points. Dorset tallied a career high five steals, while Shelton came up with two assists in the full 40 minutes of play time. 

Todd Brogna scored 10 points in the game. He hit two 3-pointers, and came down with eight boards. 

Andres Marrero scored five points and had six rebounds. 

The Warriors head to Niagara on Sunday to finish their regular season against the Purple Eagles. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
