NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Warriors scored 11 runs, but Iona scored 15 in a high scoring series finale.
Christian Scanlon hit two home runs and drove in three runs in the loss. He crushed a home run to right field in the third inning, and then again to right center field in the seventh.
Greg Cristino played a big part in the nine-run third inning, hitting a three run shot to left field.
Jayden Hamilton and
Chris Goode both tallied two hits and two RBI's each. Both of Goode's hits were doubles.
Joey Frammartino improved his on-base-percentage on a three hit and one walk day. He also knocked in a runner.
Brooke Craigue found bases three times off two hits and a walk.
Matt DeShiro and
Garrett McGovern both recorded a hit and a walk.
Bobby Loper pitched three scoreless innings to finish the game.
The Warriors are back in action on Tuesday at 3 p.m. against the Northeastern Huskies in Boston.
