LOWELL, MA – The Merrimack softball team led 4-3 after four innings, but UMass Lowell came back to take a 9-4 win in the second game of a doubleheader Wednesday.
Merrimack lost the first game of the doubleheader 6-0.
Sam Ryan drove in three runs and reached base all three plate appearances going 1-for-1 with two walks.
Emma Prahin had a hit, scored a run and drove in another for Merrimack.
Madeline Arvai and
Jamie Calkins also had hit for the Warriors.
Merrimack returns to action Saturday at home with a doubleheader with Iona, starting at noon. The series finale is Sunday at noon.
