Warriors Drop High Scoring Battle To Holy Cross

LAWRENCE, MA - Brooks Craigue racked up four hits for the Warriors, but it was the Crusaders of Holy Cross who came away with the 15-13 victory.

The 28-run total was played in three hours and 52 minutes.

Craigue's monster day came on two doubles, two singles, and a walk. He drove in a team leading three runs.

Nine-hole hitter Chris Goode excelled from the plate and the field, making a jumping catch onto the fence in the second inning, and tallying his second home run of the season. Goode ended his night with three total hits

Jack Andrews came alive for three hits and two RBI's in the game.

Greg Cristino and Joey Frammartino both had two hits and an RBI in the win. Cristino had a double down the right field line while Frammartino got a single and was hit by his seventh pitch of the season.

Freshman catcher Garrett McGovern found his way onto the bases twice off two hits.

Christian Scanlon found the bases four times from three walks, and a hit-by-pitch.

The Warriors welcome reigning MAAC champions Fairfield this week. Thursday and Friday startimes are both 1 p.m. while Saturday has a 12 noon first pitch.
