BROOKLINE, MA—Merrimack Baseball dropped a 12 inning marathon with the Northeastern Huskies by an 11-10 score on Friday afternoon.
Merrimack took the lead in the second inning, and sent 12 men to the plate in the fourth inning, scoring six runs, punctuated with a three run two out home run by
Matt DeShiro.
The Warriors would add to the lead in the eighth inning on a
Joey Frammartino single, but the Huskies would tie the score in the bottom half.
Jayden Hamilton would get a RBI on a sac fly in the 11th, but it wouldn't hold and the Huskies would walk it off in the 12
th.
Brooks Craigue led the way in hits with three, including a double.
Matt DeShiro had two hits with three RBI with a double along with the homerun and
Joey Frammartino was the other Warrior with multiple hits, notching two RBI.
