Hunkele Silences Marist Bats In Career Day

LAWRENCE, MA - Sophomore Nick Hunkele pitched eight shut down innings for the Warriors, carrying them to an 8-0 game one victory over Marist.

Hunkele set a career high in innings and in strikeouts (9). The starter only allowed one hit during his team leading outing. 

Joey Frammartino broke up the scoreless game in the sixth inning with a three-run homer to center field.

Greg Cristino crushed another three-run shot the very next inning to push the Warrior lead out to seven. 

Chris Goode tacked on a home run of his own in the eighth inning. 

Jayden Hamilton had two doubles and a walk.

Jack DePalma tallied a single, double, and a walk. 

Matt DeShiro improved his hit streak to 12 games, and on-base streak to 28.

The Warriors and Red Foxes face off again tomorrow at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 12 noon.
