NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Merrimack Women's Lacrosse midfielder Sophia Ingenito was named as the MAAC's female student athlete of the week.
Sophia Ingenito has scored 17 goals this season to go along with 14 assists.
Ingenito has scored five goals twice this season, most recently, against Quinnipiac, in a 15-14 victory.
Ingenito's other five goal game came against UNH earlier in the season, while she exploded for a six assist game at Presbyterian the week before.
In the classroom, Ingenito has been a part of the presidents list in every semester at Merrimack, building an impressive 3.9 GPA.
She is a part of the One Love Club at Merrimack, and is an active participant in other charities that the team sponsors.
