EMMITSBURG, MD - Nick Hunkele pitched eight shoutout innings for the second straight game, helping the Warriors to a 4-2 victory in extra innings. 

The reigning MAAC pitcher of the week defended his honor with another impressive start. Hunkele came just shy of a complete game shutout, striking out eight batters. 

Cole Yennaco earned his first win of the season, pitching the last 1.2 innings and striking out two batters.

Greg Cristino was the extra innings hero, hitting a booming double over the center fielders head to clear the bases. 

Cristino ended the day with two hits, which is the fifth time in the past seven games he has done so. 

Jayden Hamilton drove in two runs off a single to center field in the first inning to get things started.

Matt DeShiro reached base five times during the win. DeShiro was hit by a pitch twice, and had two singles plus a double. 

Brooks Craigue had two hits and scored in the tenth inning. 

Both Joey Frammartino and Garrett McGovern had a hit and two walks. 

The Warriors look to win the series tomorrow at 1 p.m.
